Valerie Cassidy De Falco records quadruple-double in WEABL

Valerie Cassidy De Falco recorded an impressive quadruple-double in WEABL action for Nottingham Wildcats Academy.

The GB Under-18 guard finished with an all-round effort of 29 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and 10 steals in Nottingham’s 35-94 win at The Sheffield College.

“I’m excited to be able to play in the WEABL and enjoy the challenge of competing against some of the other top U19 prospects in the country,” commented Cassidy De Falco. “It’s more special because I am able to continue my journey with teammates who I have been at Wildcats with for over 10 years.”

Head coach Siobhan Prior added: “I’m pleased for Val that she’s getting a platform to showcase how hard she works every day. She’s had to be patient for a lot of things in her career up to this point.

“I am enjoying watching her patience and consistent commitment to her game begin to come to fruition. Happy to be along for the ride with her.”
