London Lions are showing no signs of letting up as they build their roster for the 2023-24 season as they announced the signing of Karlie Samuelson.
The 28-year-old is currently playing for LA Sparks in the WNBA and becomes the latest GB star to join the Lions ahead of their EuroLeague Women debut.

“We are delighted that Karlie will be joining the Lions,” said GM Vanja Cernivec. “She brings both EuroLeague and WNBA experience with her and to have another GB star in our roster for this ambitious season is super exciting.”
Samuelson has fond memories in the competition having helped Spanish side Perfumerias Avenida reach the final in the 2021 season before a third-placed finish in the following season.
The sharpshooter also recently won a Championship title in Australia and joins international teammates Temi Fagbenle, Cheridene Green and Savannah Wilkinson in making the switch to the English capital this summer.
