Rebound All-Stars set for return to showcase national league

The Rebound All-Stars will return for the second consecutive year on Sunday 7th May, taking place at the Solent Sports Complex.

Organised by media outlet Rebound, the one-day showcase will pit stars from both the NBL and WNBL against each other, with a skills challenge, 3-point shoot out, dunk contest and male and female all-star games.

“I am really excited to announce that the Rebound All-Stars event will not be a one and done,” Rebound founder Chris Hughes said. “With the help from a dedicated team we will be able to put on an event which will hopefully be bigger and better than last year’s event.

“The event really helped raise the profile of the stars within the league as well as providing an enjoyable environment in which coaches and players could network and play alongside individuals that would normally be rivals.”

Selections for the rosters were made by the head coaches of all Division 1 clubs, with the selections headlined by Hemel Storm’s Taylor Johnson – who hit a game winner last year – and Solent Kestrels’ Division 1 Women’s Player of the Year Faye Endean.
