London Lions routed by Avtodor Saratov in London

London Lions suffered a heavy 77-104 loss at the hands of Avtodor Saratov in FIBA Europe Cup action at the Copper Box Arena in London on Tuesday evening.

Looking for their first win of the Second Round, there was optimism heading into the game after a slender 3 point defeat in the dying seconds in Russia, but Avtodor had other ideas, catching fire to finish shooting 63.5% from the field, including 14 three-pointers.

Marquis Teague got going late to finish with 28 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals to lead London, with Isaiah Reese adding 13 points and 9 assists, and Dirk Williams 11.

The team drops to 0-5 in the Second Round with the defeat at the bottom of Group L, with one last chance to pick up a win against Bakken Bears next Wednesday at home.
