Dan Clark Provides Assist for Game-Winner in Champions League Debut

GB veteran Dan Clark provided the assist for an incredible game-winner last night as Fuenlabrada stunned Bamberg Basket in the Basketball Champions League.

Clark – who finished with two points and four rebounds in 17 minutes – found Francisco Cruz on the in-bounds with 2.2 seconds left on the clock and the Mexican snatched an 88-89 victory with the long-range three at the buzzer.

Meanwhile, GB Under-18 guard Jacob Round was included in the Fuenlabrada squad and suited up on the bench.

Ovie Soko is competing in the Champions League once again having re-signed with Murcia, while Gabe Olaseni, Devon Van Oostrum and Ryan Martin are all involved in the FIBA Europe Cup – as well as British participants, Leicester Riders.
