Hemel Storm’s Nik Rhodes Beats Lituanica at the Buzzer!

With the score tied at 72 and 6.4 seconds left on the clock, Hemel Storm got the ball to Nik Rhodes who came through when it mattered.

Rhodes got into the lane to chuck up a tough 12 footer that dropped through the hoop as the buzzer sounded to give Hemel a 74-72 win over London Lituanica in NBL Division 1 on Saturday evening.

Rhodes finishes with 16 points, while Tom Adorian led Hemel with 25. Ausridas Petraitis led Lituanica with 22.

The win took Hemel to 9-3 on the season, sitting in third place in the league table, while Lituanica dropped to 6-3.
