Orlan Jackman Makes BBL Return with Worcester Wolves

Orlan Jackman is returning to the BBL after joining Worcester Wolves for the remainder of the season.

The 27-year-old started his pro career with the London Lions in 2012 before spending two seasons in Germany with Iserlohn, where he almost led the club to back-to-back promotions.

Jackman started the season playing in Portugal with top-flight side CAB Madeira, averaging 11 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, before leaving the team to join Worcester.

“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to win silverware in my own country – that’s the dream,” he said. “The reality is that they are working towards that at Worcester.”

Wolves Head Coach Paul James added: “I’m delighted that we have been able to secure the exciting talent that is Orlan Jackman for the remainder of the season.

“He is a versatile player who can score in many different ways and can play in multiple positions. Orlan will also will also bring added toughness to the team at both ends of the floor.

“I’m very excited to have him on the team and really appreciate the hard work undertaken by the Directors of the club in helping to make this possible.”

Jackman has been part of the GB Senior National Team set-up and was one of the final cuts ahead of EuroBasket 2013.

Worcester are currently second in the BBL with a 9-4 record, but are a few games behind comfortable 13-0 leaders Newcastle Eagles.
