GB forward Joel Freeland was given just his second NBA career start by the Portland Trail Blazers – and first since his rookie season in 2012.
The 27-year-old was rewarded with the opportunity in the absence of injured centre Robin Lopez, and Freeland scored 8 points and had 6 rebounds in 21 minutes of action in Portland’s 129-119 triple OT win over the Spurs.
