BBL Week 1 – Highlights Round-up

Check out some highlights from the opening weekend of the new BBL season featuring wins for Bristol, Manchester and Worcester.

Bristol Flyers made a perfect start with life in the BBL with a double-winning weekend including a 65-56 victory over local rivals Plymouth. Doug McLaughlin-Williams led the way with 14 points. Highlights below:

After suffering a loss in their season opener less than 24 hours earlier, Manchester bounced back to beat Sheffield to open their new home venue in style. Young Brit Connor Murtagh impressed in the 76-72 win.

The opening night of the new season saw a repeat of the playoff final between Newcastle and Worcester with the Wolves once again victorious. New signing Robert Thurman stamped his mark with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds.
