Nigel van Oostrum has signed his first pro contract and will play in the Netherlands next season with Eredivisie side Den Helder.
The 23-year-old Brit, who also has Dutch nationality, has just finished his college career after splitting four years at Franklin Pierce (2010-12) and Park University (2012-14).
Van Oostrum, a former GB U20 and England U18, most recently averaged 4.8 points per game, 3.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists in the American Mideast Conference in Division 1 of the NAIA, according to court-side.com. The guard joins younger brother and GB point guard, Devon in turning pro.
