Luol Deng has been named as an NBA All-Star for the second time  in his career after being chosen as a reserve for next month’s game in Houston which will be shown on ESPN.
The Great Britain forward, who made his first appearance last year, joins Chicago Bulls team-mate Joakim Noah in the Eastern Conference line-up.
Following the news, the 27-year-old took to Twitter to show his appreciation: “This is great and it’s an honour, but we all know what we’re after in this city,” he wrote.
Including Noah, there are six first-time selections, including Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Tyson Chandler and Paul George – along with surprise choice Jrue Holiday.
Marc Gasol, Brook Lopez and Stephen Curry are perhaps the biggest snubs, with Dirk Nowitzki ending his long streak.
