England U16s Routed by Turkey

England Under-16s had a tough first taste of Division A basketball on Thursday as they fell 81-56 to Turkey in their opener of the European Championships in Latvia.

Jules Dang Akado led England with 13 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds, whilst Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye had 12 to join him as the only other player in double figures.

England will now play Italy on Friday afternoon.
