Jules Christian (1996 born) JBC Highlights

There is one player who is considered head and shoulders above the rest of the 1996 born generation and that is Jules Christian Dang Akodo.

Growing up in Stockwell, London, Jules originally played for London Greenhouse Giants (now Pioneers) but it was whilst attending the ‘Dejan Bodiroga’ Camp in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina three years in a row where he began turning heads. As a result of his performances he was invited for try outs with FMP ‘Zeleznik’ Belgrade (Serbia) and Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia) before signing a multi-year contract with Union Olimpija in June 2011. He attended pre-season training with Olimpija’s senior men team in September 2011 and currently is playing for their U18 junior team.

Selected to play in the 2012 Jordan Brand Classic International Tour, Christian was picked as one of the 10 MVPs from the 40 players at the camp and will be competing in the 2012 Jordan Brand Classic International Game in Charlotte, NC on April 14th. Here is a short selection of his highlights we got on tape from his time in London with the JBC – kid is a balllller!
