In Pics: LSB Hoopers Enjoy NBA All-Star Game
On Monday night, 60 kids from across the London School of Basketball were invited to a special showing of Luol Deng’s first NBA All-Star game courtesy of Nike.
They had all been personally invited by their LSB coaches, as they took part in a Junior Williams-led coaching clinic before moving to the Jordan Court at Lilian Bayliss School, which had been transformed into a Nike Basketball cinema – complete with popcorn & pizzeria – to settle in and watch the game.
Each attendee was given a Luol Deng #makeitcount tee, with one lucky winner (who picked the right chair and claimed the winning raffle ticket!) taking home a signed Luol Deng ball.
Celebrations of Luol’s (and other British ballers) achievements like this should happen more often. Inspirational. Check out the pics…
