I’ll be 100% honest, the standard of basketball at adiSlam 2011 wasn’t great; there were teams made up entirely of their staff who had clearly never picked up a basketball in their life before. However, in terms of an event, how it was run, the entertainment (Wretch 32’s performance was simply awesome), the sponsorship, the presentation, it was top notch and something I sincerely hope happens again.
On looking at the rosters, it was obvious from the start Team RWD were the favourites, featuring Ousman Krubally, Tayo Odulaja, Vernon Teel, Tarryn Algar and Big Fen (as well as Natalie Emmanuel and Koder) they had very little trouble and brought the highlights all afternoon.
