Great Britain Under-20 basketball coach Tim Lewis has confirmed his final squad for next month’s European Championships in Sarajevo.
It comes after his team beat the Netherlands 2-0 in a warm-up series in Bristol at the weekend with a 60-55 victory on Saturday following a comprehensive 98-80 win the evening before.
“It was a solid performance, and a good team effort,” said Lewis. “We need that because the Dutch were greatly improved from the previous night and produced a fighting performance.”
Harrison Gamble, Shore Adenekan Jeff Dirkin and Jack Thompson are the last four players to be cut from the roster.
While NBA Draft pick Ryan Richards, who has been in impressive form, heads the 12 who are now bound for Bosnia.
Britain now moves to the Braintree campus of Colchester College to play their final four warm-up games.
They host Denmark on Sunday July 3 and Monday July 4 before having a day off, and then playing Belgium in back-to-back games.
Squad: John Bantock, Alasdair Fraser, Lee Goldsbrough, Will Hall, Alex Marcotullio, Alistair Mackay, Levi Noel, Lee Reilly, Ryan Richards, Will Saunders, Adam Thoseby, Devon Van Oostrum
