Luol Deng’s great early season form continued this weekend as he dropped 20 points in a win over the Washington Wizards. Meanwhile his Great Britain team mate, Ben Gordon, nailed a game-winner against the Sacremento Kings.
Luol’s 20 included three from down-town, and he added an impressive nine rebounds, six assists, and a steal in the Bulls’ 103-96 victory (their third straight W).
The south Londoner is now averaging what would be a career-high 20.3 points for the season.
Meanwhile, fellow Brit Ben Gordon was the hero of Detroit’s win in Sac-Town – dropping 16 points…including a game-winning three with just 23 clicks left.
“That’s where I make my money, playing in the fourth,” Gordon said after the 100-94 win. “That’s when I like to be in the game. It felt good to be out there, to get the W. I knew I wanted to be more aggressive in the second half.â€
