GB U20’s Win Opener Against Denmark
Ovie Soko had 24 for GB
Great Britain u20’s beat Denmark 79-65 in their opening tie at the European Under-20 Division B Championships in Austria. In a game that went back in forth in the first half, Great Britain broke the game wide open after the halftime to lead by as many as 17 points and cruise to the easy victory.
It was the tandem of Ovie Soko and Will Neighbour who shined for GB, finishing with 24 points (9/17 shooting, 6/8 at the line), 4 rebounds and 5 steals and 21 points (9/14 shooting), and 5 rebounds respectively.
