Chris Feeney and Mate Okros top scored with 13 points apiece, while Theo Hughes hauled down 13 rebounds to go with six points and four blocks.
Okros hit the ground running with the first five points and added a second triple as part of a 10-0 run in the middle of the opening period. GB led 20-11 after 10 minutes and would edge a tight second quarter to open up a 33-23 advantage at the break.
Their opponents continued to make life difficult when play resumed with GB held to just six points in a low-scoring period, though their lead was only narrowly reduced to eight at 39-31.
GB maintained their high intensity on defence in the final period with Eric Donaldson setting the tone with a big block early on as control was seized with a dominant start to push 20 points clear.
A dominant 18-4 fourth quarter continues the momentum for GB ahead of their final group game with top spot guaranteed with victory over Portugal.
