Doing a dunk contest at this year’s Hoopsfix All Star Classic was always going to be an on the day decision, depending on how many players were up for it – but one of them, Myles Laurent-Smart, was down from Day 1.
The 5’10” lightning quick guard has just returned from West Oaks Academy in the US, and showed off his ridiculous bounce to take the title, beating out Myerscough’s Emmanuel Kabengele and Bristol Flyers’ Deane Williams (who almost took off from the free throw line, but couldn’t nail it to get eliminated).
Laurent-Smart nailed a perfect 40 from the judges on his third and final dunk, as the panel was made up of GB’s Justin Robinson, Ashley Hamilton, Drew Sullivan and Orlan Jackman.
His bounce is no secret – he’s been dunking on people since 15 years old when he was 5’7″.
Justin Robinson presented the trophy to Myles, who joined GB’s Myles Hesson as winner of the Hoopsfix All Star Classic Dunk title.
