England U15 Squad Depart for 3×3 Tournament in Rome

An England Under-15 squad has departed England on Thursday to compete in an international 3×3 tournament in Rome, Italy.

The squad, consisting of Jacob Round (pictured above), Kareem Queeley, Richard Amaefule and Daniel Ogoro, will be led by Head Coach Jesse Sazant in a competition that tips off on Friday and is hosted by the Italian Federation.

There are sixteen countries in total taking part in the tournament, including Lithuania and Serbia, as well as teams from outside of Europe.

“This will be a great experience for the players to play against inernational players from across Europe,” Head Coach Sazant said, when talking to Hoopsfix.

“The players have responded well to adjusting to 3×3. It’s fast paced and puts them under a lot of pressure to stay focused. I think we have a good balance across the team we are bringing and are looking forward to the challenge.”
