Following the full player lineups being released, the Hoopsfix All Star Classic has announced the breakdown of the Under-16 teams and the coaches for both sides, who will compete on Sunday 15th June at Brunel University in West London.
The Under-16 Black Team will be coached by current England Under-16 Head Coach, Alan Keane, one of the top up and coming coaches in the UK. Originally from Ireland, Keane has worked his way up, spending over five years working with various National Team programmes (2 year assistant with U16s, 1 year assistant with U18s, 2 years with U15s as associate assistant). Keane is also the London Greenhouse Pioneers U18 Head Coach and runs Lampton School Basketball Academy,
The Under-16 White Team will be headed up by former England Under-16 Head Coach, Simon Fisher, who has recently completed a 13 year stint with the English National Teams programme, that culminated in leading the first England team, the 1995 born promotion, to promotion to Division A. During Simon’s involvement he achieved 120 caps, with 40 caps as Head Coach of England at European Championships over 5 tournaments win a 27-13 overall record (67.5% winning record).

Both teams will be running through a practice in the morning in preparation for the game, but also for Coach Keane to get in some last minute preparation for England under-16s’ series versus Sweden later in the week.
The under-16 game will tip off at 1pm, with the under-26s, whose rosters were announced yesterday, tipping at 4pm, at Brunel University, West London.
