The participants for the 3-Point Shootout at the 2023 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic have now been confirmed as six players compete for the title, on Sunday.
Anna Nevison, Liv Forster and Fats Janneh are the representatives from the Under-19 Women’s game, while Nedas Cholevinskas, Louie Tucker and William Issekya take part from the Under-19 Men’s game.
Each player will have a minute to score as many points as possible with five balls in five racks including a ‘money’ ball which is worth double. The top three players after the first round will advance to the final for another round of action in the same format.
Nevison was a finalist in the 2022 edition having produced an opening score of 15 and is set to make a third appearance in the event. Forster also competed last year, while Janneh makes a debut appearance in the contest.
Cholevinskas, Tucker and Issekya are also debutants in the shootout as they come off the back of solid shooting seasons in the EABL and CBL, respectively.
The 3-Point Shootout will be live streamed with the contest scheduled to take place around 1pm:
