Raheem May-Thompson’s Quinnipiac came out on top last night in the meeting of two Brits in NCAA Division 1, winning 75-62 over Devan Bailey’s Central Connecticut State to give the Bobcats 7 straight wins.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a particularly strong showing for either Brit. Devan Bailey out of Helsby, started for the Blue Devils and finished with 5 pts (2-3 shooting), 3rbs, and 1ast in 27 minutes of action. The freshman guard has seen inconsistent minutes on the season for the now 5-14 Blue Devils.
May-Thompson, also a freshman, was only given 2 minutes and finished with 0pts and 1 rb. He has seen 6 DNP’s this season and played double digit minutes in only one game this so far. He is however, part of a wildly more successful team with Quinnipiac now standing at 13-6.
