Despite London born Justin Robinson finishing with 19 points, he couldn’t stop Rider from falling to Canisius last night 74-58.

Robinson, a 6’0 Junior out of Blair Academy scored 16 of his 19 in the first half, finishing 5-7 from 3pt range (6-13 from the field overrall) and adding 3 rbs and 2asts 1 blk.

The loss left Rider coach Tommy Dempsey at a loose end. Speaking after the game he said

“I’m searching for answers right now, I’m disappointed. I’m discouraged. We’re just trying to find our way right now, but it’s not happening.”

Rider are now 10-11,3-6 in the MAAC and have lost three in a row (six of their last eight) for the first time since February 2008.
