Kavell Bigby-Williams Drops 36 as Pronghorns Remain Perfect

Former Great Britain Under-20 Kavell Bigby-Williams went off for a career-high 36 points while helping his Gilette Pronghorns to a 103-80 win over Northwest to move to 24-0 on Saturday night.

Bigby-Williams went 14 of 18 from the field (7/11 at the line) and added 15 rebounds, and 5 blocks for Gillette who are currently ranked the number 4 JUCO team in the country.

Bigby-Williams is third in the country in rebounding heading into the game at 13.2 per outing, and leading the country in blocks at 6.3 per game, along with 16.3 points on an efficient 54.6% from the field (full stats).

The 6’10” big man continues to receive interest from a number of NCAA Division 1 schools, already sitting on offers from Montana State (where he originally committed before heading to JUCO), UC Irvine (where he could team up with GB U20 teammate Luke Nelson), Iona, Utep, Bradley and Charlotte, while also receiving interest from a number of high major programmes, such as USC, Oklahoma State, Auburn, Utah and Texas.

Also at Gilette is former England Under-18 Dwayne Orija, who is averaging 4.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 14.7 minutes per game off the bench as a Freshman.
