Following on from his career-high matching 22 points last week, Jordan Spencer registered a new career-high in the assist column in Augustana’s 87-80 win over University of Mary on Saturday.
Spencer, who’s Augustana are currently the number 1 ranked NCAA Division 2 school in the US, registered 16 dimes in the win, putting him in elite company as it tied him up for the fourth best mark in school history.

The former Great Britain Under-20 now has 144 assists on the season while averaging 7.5 assists per game. Following his 5 assist game on Sunday, Spencer is now 91 assists away from breaking the record for assists in a single season. The record is 240, held by Pat Freidel during the 1987-88 season.

With Sunday’s win over Minot State, the Vikings have won 19 consecutive games which ties a program record set in 2014-15. Their 19 straight games is the best mark in Division II and tied for third best across all three divisions. The win also gave the Vikings a share of the South Division Title.
