Rider defeated Howard 78-64 on Tuesday night for it’s third win in a row. Justin Robinson played 35 minutes, going 7/10 from the field (5/7 threes, 3/4 at the line) for 22 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. His 5 three pointers were a career high. Teammate Tom Pereira registered a DNP.

Elsewhere, St. Bonaventure rallied to defeat Siena 82-79. Robinson’s GB teammate Ogo Adegboye had 18 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 block in 39 minutes on 5/11 shooting (4/10 threes, 4/4 at the line). It is now his sixth straight game in double digits since his career high 24 and 10 game on 4th December against Buffalo.

Bucknell defeated Loyola (Md.) 70-59. Shane Walker had 14 points, 9 rebounds and 1 block in 34 minutes, shooting 3/11 from the field and 7/8 at the line.

No. 5 Syracuse held off Providence 81-74 in the Big East opener for both teams. Lee Goldsbrough registered a DNP.

IPFW repelled a late charge to beat Oral Roberts 76-73. Mikey Manghum registered a DNP.

Monday 27th December
UAB got it’s fourth straight victory with a 79-44 rout of George Washington on Monday night. Ovie Soko had 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 30 minutes of playing time, going 5/9 from the field and 2/2 at the line.

Portland held off a late rally by Nevada for a 66-62 victory. Patrick Nyeko played 1 minute, registering 1 turnover.
