After dropping 19 a couple of nights earlier but not being able to stop Rider (11-11) falling to their third straight loss, Justin Robinson finished with 9pts, 3rbs, 2asts and 2stls to help Rider break their losing streak in a 62-61 win over Niagara.
It looked like Rider were going to add to their loss column when Ryan Thompson missed a lay-up with 6 seconds left, but Novar Gadson scored a tip in with 5 seconds remaining to cap Rider’s comeback from a 7 point deficit with just over 6 minutes to play.
It wasn’t a great shooting night for Robinson, who finished 3-10 from the field.
Robinson and Rider look to build upon this win and get over .500 on January 28th vs Manhattan.
