Ovie Soko is heading to Spain next season after joining top-flight side CB Murcia, it was announced today.
The 25-year-old impressed in Greece last season with Trikala, averaging 16.7 points per game along with 7.7 rebounds before finishing the season in Italy’s Serie A with Enel Brindisi.

As part of the move, Soko will be playing in the EuroCup this season with Murcia in Group C alongside compatriots Unicaja Malaga as well as Germany’s Bayern Munich, Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg, Macedonia’s MK Skopje and Budućnost Podgorica, from Montenegro.
Last season, Murcia finished in seventh with an 18-16 record in the ACB before losing 2-1 to Real Madrid in the first round of the playoffs.
Soko made his GB Senior debut last summer, but is not part of the squad for the upcoming EuroBasket 2017 qualifiers.
