England U18s Cruise Past Japan at Albert Schweitzer Tournament

England Under-18s used a dominant second quarter to cruise past Japan, 86-63, on Wednesday afternoon at the Albert Schweitzer Tournament in Germany.

Pharroh Gordon led England for the second time, scoring 15 points, Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye added 14, whilst Deane Williams, Aaron Menzies and Theo Oghide had 10 each.

Though the first quarter remained close, England used their athleticism to pull away in the second and cruise the rest of the way.

England remain on target for ninth place in the tournament; the winner of their group will be decided tomorrow out of them or Slovenia, with the winner playing in the ninth place playoff on Friday.
