England Under-16s suffered a 70-59 loss at the hands of Sweden in Bristol on Friday night, as they played the first stage of their two-game series.
With the game tied at halftime, it remained within 5 points until the final 5 minutes, where Sweden continued to break down England’s defence for easy baskets and dominate the offensive glass.
Josh Steel had 15 points to lead England, whilst Aidan Gastaldi-Davies had 12 points, 9 rebounds and Carl Wheatle had 12 and 7 rebounds.
