Devon van Oostrum

Saski Baskonia (Caja Laboral) have reached an agreement with LEB Gold side Cáceres for Devon van Oostrum for the coming season, the club announced on their website today.

The rising star was one of the surprise early releases of Chris Finch’s GB Olympic squad, and instead spent this summer with the GB U20s at the Division B European Championships where he averaged 19.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game whilst being named to the all tournament team.

The athletic 6’2″ point guard is no stranger to LEB Gold having spent last season in the same league with Tarragona where he averaged 6 points and 2.3 assists in 17.6 minutes per game.

Hoopsfix wants to wish him all the best for the coming season – we will, of course, keep you updated on his progress!

Good luck Dev!

Hopefully another year of experience and maybe a bit of extra upper boday strength will see him in the ACB next season!
