Soluade, Bucci Lead Performers of the Weekend

A regular feature here on Hoopsfix, it’s time to recognise a number of standout individual performances this weekend (despite a number of games being cancelled due to snow) across all EBL National Leagues with our ‘Performers of the Weekend’;

Mo Soluade, the number 1 ranked 1995 born in the country, had a near quadruple double as Bucks Hornets destroyed Hackney White Heat 119-38 in U16 Boys Southern Premier action. Soluade finished with 36 points (19 point first quarter), 11 assists, 10 steals, and 7 rebounds in the game, with 5 dunks to boot.

Ralph Bucci, who dropped 48 a couple of weeks ago, had a huge triple double of 22 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists as his Tees Valley Mohawks took the local bragging rights with a 77-69 Patron’s Cup win at Team Northumbria, whilst Ike Attah had a 25 point, 19 rebound effort in the same game (box score).

Jay Lavinier dropped 39, including 7 three’s in the first half, leading his East Side Eagles to an 84-81 victory over Hemel Storm in EBL Division 2 action.

Special mention needs to go to Martin Butterly, because, despite it not being in a National League game, breaking the 60 point barrier is no small feat! Butterly finished with 62 points in an U16 Surrey CVL game, as his Mole Valley Phoenix took on Spelthorne Atoms, winning 96-74.
