The BBL, with their partner Televideo, a Sheffield based TV production company, announced a deal with Sky Sports that will see British basketball being broadcast to your living room from Tuesday 2nd November.
BBL Chairman Paul Blake said:
“We are delighted to be back on Sky Sports, and look forward to a long term partnership. The BBL has a very exciting product, and we can guarantee the very best of British basketball action. Right from the opening game, featuring top side the One Health Sheffield Sharks and the BBL Championship winners, Newcastle Eagles, on Tuesday 2nd November 2010, we can promise fast and furious action right through to the BBL Championship Playoffs at the end of April 2011. We know from past experience there is a strong demand for the sport from the basketball loving TV viewers, and we looked forward to re-connecting with that fan base.”
