Those who follow Hoopsfix on Twitter, or are a fan on Facebook know that I’ve been trying to get this done for the past couple of weeks. Finally, after a couple of late nights it’s here!

This is 6’11, 230lbs NBA draft early entrant, Ryan Richards doing his thing in 2009/2010, featuring highlights from last summer with England under 18′s against Belgium and Austria (check him out nailing 5 straight three’s!) and this year with BBC Monthey in Switzerland playing like a man amongst boys! Being 1991 born, he is actually the youngest player who has declared for this year’s draft and has impressed a lot of people at the NBA pre-draft workouts/combine.

From this video (and the one of Richards at Future Stars 2009), you can see why he is an NBA prospect, at a quarter of an inch under 7 foot (!), he can bang down low, has great footwork, can step outside and shoot the 3, pass, and handle the rock. By far the best player I have ever seen in person at his age,  not even close.

Check him out, and if you like this, please share it on Facebook, embed it on your website and re-tweet it to friends!

*Apologies for angles, filming quality, obviously none of it was done by me ;)

I love his game, hope continues to get (deserved) hype. Better than (and rather similar in ways) GB player Kieron Achara. Richards has all the potential and raw skill to be NBA-Bound in my opinion.
