Wolves Close The Gap With Win Over Pirates

February 14, 2010 19:42 pm 0 comments

Worcester Wolves closed the gap on a playoff spot yesterday, with a 70-75 win on the road over Essex Pirates.
It was not an easy victory however, as the Wolves were made to work for it as a seemingly comfortable fourth quarter lead was cut to just two before a 5-2 run over the final 18 seconds clinched the win.
Daniel Gilbert led the Wolves with 26 points while Rod Middleton chipped in 18. Tanner Adu led the Pirates scoring with 18.
