Sharks Stay On Top With Win Over Rocks

February 15, 2010 9:05 am 0 comments

The Sheffield Sharks retained sole position of the top spot in the BBL with a 100-93 win over Glasgow Rocks, despite being without BBL leading scorer Mike Cook who was out with a foot injury.

The Sharks more than made up for the absence of Cook, led by the inside-outside combination of Tafari Toney and Ryan Patton who scored 31 points and 28 points respectively.

Toney added 15 boards whilst going 9/9 at the line. Point guard Patton was hot from behind the arc going six of nine as the Sharks moved two points clear at the top of the league table.

Rob Yanders led Glasgow with 22 points.
