Fairfield secured a 79-75 victory over Rider in overtime on Friday night, avenging an 88-80 home loss to Rider on Jan. 30.

Anthony Johnson had a chance to win it for the Stags in regulation, but split his free throws for a 71-69 lead with 10 seconds left. Brit Justin Robinson stepped up in the clutch and nailed a jumper 6 seconds later for Rider to send the contest into OT.

Justin Robinson played a season high 43 minutes, finishing with 15 points (7/13 shooting, 1/3 from range), 1 rebound and 3 assists.

Rider are now 14-13 (7-8 in the MAAC).
