Sheffield born Sam Fernley registered 17 minutes in Fairleigh Dickinson’s 83-81 loss to Longwood Lancers yesterday.

Fernley, a 6’0, 175lbs guard who had registered 9 straight DNP’s, seemed to make the most of his minutes finishing with 6 points (2/3 three point shooting), 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.

Sam’s British teammate, 7’2 centre Lawrence Brown out of Portsmouth registered a DNP.

Fairleigh Dickinson Knights now stand at 8-17.
