Teddy Okereafor is heading back to Italy for the remainder of the 2017-18 season after signing with Serie A2 side, Fortituto Bologna, as reported by Sportando.
The GB Senior guard averaged 6.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in Greece’s top-flight with Kymis in what is his second season as a pro.
Okereafor previously played in Italy with Pistoia Basket at the end of last season and has become a regular amongst the GB Senior set-up having played at EuroBasket 2017 as well as the FIBA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers.
GB team-mate Andrew Lawrence is also playing in the Italian second division where he is averaging 18.5 points and 4.9 assists per game for second-placed Givova Scafati in the Western Conference.
Bologna have an 18-6 record as they sit joint-top in the Eastern Conference with six games still to play in the regular season.
