Aaron Geramipoor Leaves CBA to Join LEB Gold Leaders Ourense

British centre Aaron Geramipoor has left Canarias Basketball Academy to join LEB Gold title contenders Ourense.

Geramipoor has had an impressive start to his rookie pro season having averaged 14+ points and 8.5 rebounds per game during his time with CBA in LEB Silver.

The 22-year-old’s form has caught the eye of Ourense and they have snapped up Geramipoor to boost their Championship credentials.

Ourense are currently leading the way in the Spanish second division with a 10-5 mark – along with two other teams – while Canarias have a 4-10 record in the division below having struggled early on.

Geramipoor is set to make his debut at the weekend when his new side take on mid-table Melilla.
