Mo Soluade (1995 Born) Makes LEB Gold Debut

Mo SoluadeIt has been a big week for 1995 born Mo Soluade as he made his debut with Unicaja Malaga’s LEB Gold side Clinicas Rincon Benahavis.

The 6’4″ England international  has evidently impressed enough in Spain to be given a chance with the men in what is considered one of the stronger leagues in Europe, an opportunity he has grabbed with both hands.

Playing for England, Mo alternated between the two and three spot, but Unicaja have been playing him solely at the point guard position for both his junior games and LEB gold outings.

In his debut, a 75-59 loss to Girona last Sunday, Soluade played just under 17 minutes, finishing with 4 points, 2 assists and 4 turnovers (box score).

He then followed that up a week later (Saturday night) with 9 points, all three pointers as he finished 3/6 from the field and added 4 steals, 3 rebounds and 4 turnovers in 21 minutes (box score).

Across his last three junior games before making his debut, he finished with 10, 17 and 31 points respectively.

Great progression for the fast-rising young prospect, who is likely to be playing for the England Under-18s this summer in the Division B European Champions.
