The Ron Artest story initially seemed like it could only be a publicity stunt, but it just won't go away. Ron told the LA Times last week: "I'm definitely going to play for the Jets."
The longer this goes on, the more I'm beginning to think it will happen. Ron does seem to have discussed his potential salary with the Jets, saying he would make $1500-$2500 (£900-£1500) a month there. He says he won't join the team until late November because he'll be playing in Finland. So what do you think? Will Ron be suiting up for the Jets next season? If he does, will it help the Jets and the BBL, or will it just turn the league into a bigger joke than it already is?
