Finally seems to be some movement regarding the British Basketball Association
FT.com / Companies / Travel & Leisure - Premier League owners courted for basketball
If they get the funding, could it be game over for the BBL? Planning to launch November 2010..exciting times for British basketball..They seem damn serious...going HARD!

I hope to God the BBA is going to kick off and be something big!
It's just what Britain needs to increase popularity in the sport and gain some attention. However, I do not want it to be filled with tonnes of overseas players. I would like to see home grown players, showcase the UK's talent! |

If this does go through, its going to be exciting stuff, i know i'll be going to a lot of games! I haven't seen the full article yet because you have to sign up but i'll have a decent read of it soon.

Damn talk about bumping an old thread! Haha..this was like a year ago...yeah they didn't make their 2010 launch...2011 is the new one set-if you didn't see the interview I did with Ron Scott check it out
