Luke Nelson will play for the LA Clippers at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, it was confirmed today.
The GB guard is part of the 15-man roster having revealed his intentions to Hoopsfix about competing in the event.
In his senior year at UC Irvine, Nelson averaged 16.9 points per game and was named the 2017 Big West Conference Player of the Year.

Nelson was not selected in last month’s NBA Draft, but now has the chance to impress teams at the biggest of the three NBA Summer League events.
The Clippers take on the Lakers in their opening game with Nelson likely to go up against Number 2 pick Lonzo Ball.

Nelson becomes the first Brit since Gabe Olaseni to compete in the NBA Summer League with the GB forward having represented Miami Heat in 2015 before signing his first pro contract in Germany.
