Jimmy Butler appeared unannounced on Ducketts Common outdoor courts in Haringey, London, for an impromptu 3-on-3 game whilst on his London visit yesterday.
The Chicago Bulls guard has been in the capital for the past week, working out at Barking Abbey in East London, whilst rumours swirl around the 3-time NBA All-Star’s future
Butler made reference to the recent 3×3 Olympics announcement in his Instagram post after playing amongst friends against a team of players including arguably the UK’s best dunker and Brunel University Ducks guard, Joel Henry.
“My three vs. a london three. might as well enter the three on three in the olympics. thanks for letting us play fellas!,” Butler captioned.
Butler made a visit to Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium as well as the latest Transformers film premiere with good friend Mark Wahlberg before heading to the basketball court.
Butler has played over 400 games in six NBA seasons and averaged a career-best 23.9 points per game in the 2016-17 campaign before the Bulls exited in the first round of the playoffs.
