Jesse Chuku’s College Highlights at Lehigh

In his Senior year, the former GB U20 played and started in 32 overall games in 2015-16 with averages of 9.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game and is looking forward to the next step.

“It’s pretty exciting to be graduating,” the 1993 born forward told Hoopsfix.

“I’m looking forward to be able to devote all my time and effort to the game I love. Looking back at my college career, I’ve had many ups and downs but the big takeaway I got from it is to stay present and enjoy the moment. Not many people get the opportunity I’ve had so I think it’s important to not take it for granted and give your best effort every day.

The London-born forward recorded a season-high of 22 points in a 77-74 win against Navy in February as Lehigh finished with a 17-15 record on the season (including an 11 game win streak) and 13-5 in conference play as they made it all to the way to the Patriot League Championship game before falling to Holy Cross.

Chuku added: “Now it’s all about pursuing a professional contract and continuing to work on my game over the summer months. I’m looking forward to show sides of my game that I didn’t really get to showcase in the college system.”
