Hoopsfix All Star Classic 2016 Announced – #HASC16

It is that time of the year again (already!) – we’re pleased to announce the third annual Hoopsfix All Star Classic, taking place on Sunday June 5th at Brixton Recreation Centre in South London.

The one day showcase of British basketball talent builds upon the past two years which have sold out in advance and put some of the top talent in the country on the floor at the same time.

With a fresh rebrand (courtesy of 5or6), the format remains the same, with an Under-19 and Under-17 game headlining the day, as we stay in Brixton, the perfect venue for the two exhibitions.

With the backing of a group of eleven supporters; Molten, Red Bull, 2tall.com, Sportserve Ltd, Bigfoot Basketball, 5or6, Let Me Play, Basketball Megastore, Always Ballin, Custom College Recruiting, and Wilkie TV., we are going to once again put on a day to remember that will tip off the summer in the perfect way.

On the morning of the event, as always, there will be a kids clinic for local London youth, before walkthroughs for all teams.

At 1pm the doors will open to the public, as the best under-17s in the country, will suit up in an exhibition tipping off at 2pm to show just how much talent we have coming through. There will be no rest as at 4pm, the top under-19s will take to the floor, in what will be the largest collection of elite young talent seen in the UK in one place in recent memory.

Rosters and full coaching lineups will be released in the coming weeks, with further announcements regarding sponsors and partners to be added.

Once again, there are limited tickets, and if last year is anything to go by, they will be gone soon! None will be available on the door, so all we can say is to buy early. Last year we were inundated with requests after we had sold out – so consider this a pre-warning; do not wait on it!

Due to Health & Safety, we have a maximum capacity in the gym which we physically are not allowed to go over or we get shut down. I’ll say it again – BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment!

This is a not for profit event – with all proceeds going to the Hoopsfix Foundation – to help fund the Classic along with other projects we have planned – not only will you get a great day of basketball entertainment, but you’ll be giving back to the game!
