Matthew Bryan-Amaning Earns DPOY & All-1st Team Honours in Dominican Republic

Matthew Bryan-Amaning has been named as the LNB Defensive Player of the Year as he chases another Championship title, in the Dominican Republic.

The GB forward has been in great form in Latin America this past season having won the playoff finals with Soles de Mexicali in Mexico before going on to dominate the past few months with Soles de Santo Domingo.

His current side are in the semi-finals of the playoffs with the series tied at 2-2 heading into the decider that could push MBA closer to another piece of silverware.

Bryan-Amaning has averaged a team-best 19.2 points per game in 21 outings along with 7.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists that helped his side to a 13-7 record during the regular season.

The 27-year-old was also named to the LNB All-Star five; recognising the top players in the league throughout the season with MBA making his mark at both ends of the floor.
